Dear Brothers, Sisters and Children

DALMO Management Committee and the Trustees wish you very rewarding last nights of Ramadan.

We pray to Allah (swt) that your Taa’at are accepted and that we have all witnessed and have been rewarded our dua’a in Lailatu AlQadr, Allahum Ameen.

Following the European Council for Fatwa and Research, we are pleased to announce that Eid Al Fitr will be on Sunday the 1st of Shawal 1438H – the 25th of June 2017.

Please find below the details regarding the payment of Zakatu Al-Fitr, the Eid Date and Eid Venue.

  1. Zakatu Al-Fitr

It is wajib (obligatory) for Muslims to pay Zakatu Al-Fitr, whether male or female, minor (child) or adult.

DALMO has been collecting Zakatu Al-Fitr and will continue the collection until just before the Eid Prayer.

Ways of paying Zakatu Al-Fitr:

(a) Via the bucket provided BY DALMO with the clear sign designated for this purpose.
(b) By hand to any of DALMO Management Committee members, and in particular DALMO’s Treasurer and the Secretary.

The amount of Zakatu Al-Fitr is £5.00 per individual, adult or minor. The payment has to be done for the whole family. You may pay by cash or cheque. Cheques are to be addressed to DALMO.

  1. Eid Al-Fitr Arrangements

Date:

Following the European Council for Fatwa and Research, we are pleased to announce that Eid Al Fitr will be on Sunday the 1st of Shawal 1438H – the 25th of June 2017

EID PRAYER and Arrangements: (PLEASE READ CAREFULLY) 

Venue:

The Jubilee Centre, Savages Wood Rd, Bradley Stoke, Patchway, Bristol BS32 8HL 

Time:

Doors will be open from 8.00 am. Please arrive not later than 8.30am so that you will be able to drop your family, park your car, take your place in the prayers halls (brothers and sisters areas).  Please note that parking of your car and your family including your children health and safety matters are PURELY your responsibility.

Please ensure that WE ALL look after the place, and park very appropriately to demonstrate the TRUE Very High Image of the Muslim Community.

Socialising Time and Cleaning:

After Khuttbah till before 11.00 am: Social time with no interruptions.

11.00  am – 12.00 pm:

Cleaning, removing carpets, uninstalling audio system and the rest of material sent back to DALMO Gorvelands House.

This year we have changed the way we start the Social Function and the Gifts for EID to children. Immediately after the Salat and Khuttba are delivered, the Social function will start with no interruption till 11.00 am. Then, we will have to start the cleaning process in less than hour and make sure our TRUE IMAGE as Muslims be very well portrayed with very cleaned and shiny halls.

Food:

Please ensure that you bring two sets of finger food for the brothers and sisters areas with your plates marked with your name on a label. Please ensure that you take your plates back and not leave any behind you to ease the cleaning process. This should be cleared at 11.00 am the latest please.
